I upgraded my SIM only contract in November 24 and since then the signal issues I've had have gotten much worse. Every time I'm away from a WiFi connection my phone simply has no signal. I missed several important calls (1 was an emergency) all because my signal was non existent until I got a WiFi connection.
I contacted EE who told me my phone is the issue and not the signal. Apart from signal issues near home, I never had such problems until I upgraded the contract. I am so not happy with EE at the moment. I'm on a 30g data monthly plan and so far I've used less than 3g per month! Plus, all calls are classed as potential scams. The call handler didn't seem to understand the issue. Surely I should have a decent signal away from wifi.

Hi @Blackdog101,
Welcome to the Community!
We know how important it is for you to be able to stay connected, so I can understand your concern if you're missing out on important phone calls. When you spoke with our team did they run though any diagnostics with you to determine why it was you were having this issue? Have you been able to try another SIM in your phone to see if this works without the issues you've described here?

WiFi-calling uses EE's core network in the same way as the mobile network, so if you can connect that way - a SIM fault is less likely. A 2way SIM-swap is still an excellent idea..
Your non-working SIM in a working phone - what result?

I strongly suspect that "Every time I'm away from a WiFi connection my phone simply has no signal" is the crux and indicates a phone fault.
