Phone not ringing with eSim

My Google Pixel 8 Pro with an ee eSIM (personal) and a Vodafone physical SIM (business) frequently fails to ring when receiving an ee call.
*this doesn't appear to be affecting my Vodafone physical SIM which is functioning correctly.

I get an SMS to say I've got a voicemail but, don't have a missed call on my device.

It's confirmed to have happened twice in the last 5 days however, I've got no ideas how frequently it does happen as not everyone leaves a voicemail.

Anyone got any ideas?

Is the EE SIM active & enabled for calls? Can you make outgoing calls from the EE SIM?

Can you use mobile data whilst on an EE call? And does this happen in one specific location or is it more general?
