I have checked the network coverage in my area and its shows great 4G coverage outdoors and also good coverage indoors for my location yet I cant make any calls or use any of the data in my package so I have 125GB sitting there doing nothing every month and unlimited minutes doing nothing. Worked ok at first but now doesn't. My partner has a mobile with ID and they use the same EE network and coverage is fine with them so I don't understand why I cant get any signal. Ridiculous.

ID is an MVNO using 3UK - this is a different network to EE.
Is this a recent problem, or has coverage always been like this? You can check for, and report, network outages using the "check status" tool on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker
