@Andrew-Matlock No. As per your contract that’s states about planed maintenance. You still have the option to use WiFi calling.

Why are we not informed before maintenance?
29-06-2024 01:03 PM
There is no mention of this maintenance being planned

@Andrew-Matlock If it’s not planned maintenance then it’s could just be a faulty mast. Issue do occur that are out of EEs control and you are still not refunded when this happens. Did you not read the contract T&Cs that you agreed too ?
No network has perfect 365 day service over the UK. you still have the option to use WiFi calling.

EE's UK network is not down, but there may be a local outage in your area - something which happens on all networks from time-to-time and is unavoidable.
You can use the "my places" feature on the coverage webtool to get updates on planned & unplanned outages in upto 5 UK locations - https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker
If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.

Afternoon @Cleggy73
Thanks for coming to the community.
If you get in touch with our tech guides, they will get the account looked into and see if any refund for the loss of service is available.
Leanne.
