I joined EE a rew weeks back now, believing all of the hype about being the best network, but my experience is very different. Both at home and work, I struggle with call quality and network reception and also during the 60 mile journey between. Calls frequently drop and even when I get a 5G signal, the data speeds are woeful. Anyone else finding this?

@Gjef Nope. I only have one location that has poor signal issues ( indoor/outside)so I use Wi-Fi calling as that’s what it’s for. What’s the signal like outside at these places?

Hi @Gjef
Thanks for coming to the community.
Could you try checking the status of the network in your area on our coverage checker please? If you enter your postcode and tap 'check status' Does this show you any reported problems?
Thanks.
Leanne.

I see, thanks @Gjef
If no problems have been reported for the areas you have noticed a problem in, you can report these areas on the status checker, and the network team will get this looked into for you and give you an update once this has been looked into.

Does your phone show VoLTE when calls drop?
Whether an area is populated or not is not always relevant - poor coverage can occur in urban areas just as well as excellent coverage in rural areas.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I don't believe so but often it happens when driving so hard to say for sure.
Would this be a good or bad sign? What settings alteration might improve it?

It doesn't happen in all areas. I cam make calls or texts most of the time but the patchiness of the network is very disappointing

Wifi calling is turned on as needed for home.
It happens in the same spots most days during my commute
