Anyone else's EE mobile connection lost when we have inclement weather or a powercut? Mine drops off during inclement weather and doesn't show any issues when reported, I can only ring emergency numbers, none of my neighbors who are on other networks lose theirs. Also happens when there is a power cut so my family can't contact me to make sure I am ok and vice versa. Been with EE for over 20 years and had no issues until I moved to where I am now!
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hi @TILLYCAT,
Thanks for getting in touch and telling us about this.
I'm sorry to hear that this is happening every time there's bad weather or a local power cut.
As you've had the issue since moving rather than throughout your 20+ years with EE, it does sound more location-specific than an account issue.
You can check our Network status checker to see if there are any issues in your area and report them.
I'd recommend giving us a call so a guide can get this issue looked into a bit deeper for you.

Hi @TILLYCAT
Yes EE like all networks is subject to disruption becase of severe weather. Other networks maybe disrupted for different weather events or power disruptions.
It also depends on where you live as some infrastructure is more robust than other locations for example remote exposed areas over built up areas.
Can you not connect to EE WiFi calling if you have fixed line broadband.
Thanks

I can use Wi-Fi calling when I have power but when I don't I have nothing, no contact with the outside world to let family know I am ok only emergency services. Yes I am rural but as I said my neighbor doesn't have any issues with their network and can receive updates on power outages and keep in contact with family especially when the weather has been so rough

I can understand your concern @TILLYCAT,
You certainly don't want to be without a working connection when you need to get in touch with others.
It does sound odd that your neighbour's service isn't disrupted, but yours is.
I'd love for one of our guides to get this investigated further for you.

I wish someone would, I just get told by EE there was no issue with the service in your area!
