Mast on small holding

AdeC
Visitor

Hello,

We have an 11 acre small holding near Hailsham, East Sussex. Our rural area has very poor mobile reception. Looking at the options for renting land for a tower. Is this something EE would be interested in?

Hello @AdeC ,

Welcome to the community,

I go there regularly and have 4G reception on my phone, so not sure why there is not a good reception where you are.

Not sure whether that is possible, as there are regulations to go through etc. You could try ringing EE customer service and see what they have to say.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

To give some brief background on the process involved in a new network site..

Once EE have decided to attempt a new site in a given area, they will need to locate a suitable location that is likely to provide the desired coverage, has a willing landlord with whom a legal agreement can be reached, power-supplies can be installed and local authority planning consent achieved once a suitable design identified.

An interested landlord is certainly a start, but only a part of the overall process.
