Does VoLTE (Android) or 4G-call (Apple) show onscreen when you make or receive calls in this area?

Hi ,
the posted screenshot is from a public group and i had permission of the group admins to share the information if it helps resolve the issue that EE says doesn't exsist, yet its giving people who phone up about it discounts !

Hi , yes i have a 2/3 bar signal on 4g , when i move out of the area it suddenly works.
we have another nearby mast that is not working , LL20 butt my coverage says i come off a different mast , yet my data stopped working the same time this LL20 mast stopped working for data ?

That's not directly addressing the point that I asked - does VoLTE (Android) or 4G-call (Apple) show onscreen when you make or receive calls in this area? VoLTE is the tech underpinning 4G-calling, which is - in basic terms - an addition to 4G coverage.
You can have 4G service without VoLTE, and if so - this could be part of the issue.
As much as a social media group can be useful for comparing notes, it's no substitute for proper fault reporting - has each & every affected user on that group reported their issues via EE's channels? Assuming there's no existing recognised issue there.

A site outage can often have a slight knock-on effect on surrounding sites, by way of traffic offloading. It's common for indicated coverage to remain the same, but there to be performance issues due to increased load.

It's still against Community Guidelines, but still @Katie_B will be able to read it. You should have PM'ed it.

hi , im not sure how to see that on iphone.. i jusr see the 2/3 bar signal and 4g showing. from what i can gather in the local facebook group... people are phoning up complaining and just being given reduced tariffs for now , but EE saying theres no problem with the ll14 mast. yet the LL20 mast went down just after xmas and was due to be repaired january 26th, but hasnt yet. the data thingy on the mast was water damaged.
so just drawing a conclusion that the ll20 mast has affected the ll14 mast somehow.. yet its not showing any issue on EE online.

I would love to know what piece of radio equipment is interpreted by CS as being a "data thingy"!!
In very simple terms, if one particular network site is off-service for whatever reason, then some of the traffic normally handled by it would be picked up by neighbouring sites.
If the data traffic is especially heavy, the overall loss of capacity could easily cause a slowdown in speeds in the remaining coverage areas.

hi ,
if that was the case then why is there no reported issue with the ll14 mast ? yet if it is being overloaded with data and bringing it to a stand still you think that EE would mention that or put a post on the mast site about that.
the new part was due to arrive on January 26th for the LL20 mast, but EE couldn't give a time when it would be fitted.
I though you might be able to offer some help but it seems you cant.. unless you can get an update from EE about the mast or get me a reduced bill from dec 23 ?
