So I have a 5G router, Huawei CPE Pro 2 and couple of days ago I was getting good download speeds using 5G and all of a sudden the speed went down and became slow.
I checked the settings of my router to see if it's getting any 5G frequency but it's not.
The unit has full 5G 5 bars, but no frequency which means it's not getting any 5G data.
I can't upload any pictures to show you because it's not letting me add it to this post.
Are there any issues with 5G currently?

Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

My plan refreshed yesterday and 5G has kicked back in again at 3600Mhz.
So yeah I guess there’s a first time for everything. After you go over 600GB it’s capped at 4G.
About the 5G on 2100Mhz, that’s the CPE PRO 3 and LTE Monitor reporting it wrong. It’s an unmodded router.
The 5G cap is a deal breaker for me to be honest. That’s why I got a second sim contract which I can buy an add-on for unlimited date and enjoy full 5G.

So the proof in the pudding will be when you hit 600Gb Download again, monitor it to confirm. That's a real Kick in the Teeth from EE if Im honest, how old is the UL Plan, as in when did you start the Contract.
On the N1 5G Band looks to me as though the LTE Monitor is showing the correct Band, as in N1 2100Mhz, also its shown this when you tested the Vodafone Sim if I remember correctly, so possibly just Band 78 is wrong (which it thinks is B48).

I’m gonna keep you posted. The contract started on the 11 of May 2022.
I tried a second CPE PRO 3 which shows the same 5G N1 2100Mhz.

So into your first month of the contract then, so it's not even as though you're a consistently heavy user every month, this Speed cap is literally within the first month or probably a couple of weeks of a brand new contract.
Looks also then that your 4G Speed is also being heavy capped as I seem to recall you were getting over 200Mbs on 4G (when switched off 5G) when it was working.
Yes please keep us posted when the speed or cap kicks on again

I’ve never got 200Mbps on 4G. Max I got was around 140Mbps. I probably would have been happy, even though capped at 4G, with 200Mbps after exceeding 600GB.

@EssexBoyEE on 5G I get around 220-280Mbps. 200Mbps on 4G would have been enough but that’s not the case.

I have hit yet another problem with EE unlimited plan. Last month, after I exceeded 600GB I got capped at 4G only and slower speeds. (It says 5G but no 5G frequency which means it's downloading from 4G and slow - The EE Community)
This month after around 100GB, my speed is now 0.5 Mbps (which is the STAY CONNECTED speeds) download and upload.
This is now getting ridiculous. CS can't find anything wrong with my account, yet I'm being throttled at every single single opportunity.
This is a brand new contract, under 6 weeks old. Plan started on the 11th of May.

Hmm, putting the Speed to one side for the minute, there's something amiss here, look at your first screenshot -
Unlimited data
Great news! Your plan includes unlimited data. What's more, you can gift up to 120GB of data to
other phones and tablets on your account every month.
You have 528.3GB left to gift until your allowances restart.
That is wrong or doesn't make sense for starters, it plainly says your have 120gb of data to Gift every month and you have 528.3gb left over to gift.
What Plan exactly are you on? , is it an UL Data Sim Only (UL Data + 100 Text) or a UL Phone Sim Only (UL Mins, UL Text, UL Data)or is it a UL Data Add On to an Existing Plan or Something else.
Are you Gifting Data from your UL Plan to another Sim on your Account, if so how much Data every month and over how many Sims.
This 500+gb left to Gift has popped up before on this Forum with another User, let me see if I can find the Thread, as I cannot remember the Outcome.
Do you have itemised Billing on your account?, if not what page (exactly) are you getting this Itemised Data from where it is mentioning the 'Expired' and 'Nulls'
Using a Device connected to this Router what does EE respond back when you go to this URL -
Report back in verbatim what it tells you or Screenshot it, also on the same page click on -

Okay, I've exceeded 600GB for this month and the throttle is back. Getting 4G only now. (I gifted most of the 600GB to another SIM on the account in order to achieve this and prove that I'm being capped). The other SIM that received the data is on full 5G.
Tried 2 different mast at different frequencies. Same issue.
