Hi,
I checked the forum, which stated that WiFi calls are free. My plan includes international roaming.
However, I was billed for all international calls, per call?
How can I prevent this from repeating? Why was I charged?
Thanks

WiFi Calling is not free & it hasn't been stated here that it is by anybody who would know..
It is purely a means of routing calls when they can't be made over the mobile network. They are not a means of avoiding charges. Either way you are charged the same.
International calls & texts to overseas nos. from UK can be rather expensive but EE has a add-on, for £2.50 pm for those on contract or free for some PAYG, that can be applied for to give these calls & texts at a fraction of the standard rates. See The CALL ABROAD Add-on for Cheap Calls/Texts from UK .
Making calls from UK isn't roaming & so your plan does not cover them.

@VHA321 qgwew sis tiu aee that information?
There are a number of free apps and messaging systems that will allow calls over a WiFi network for free, but obviously you and the recipient need the same app and to be connected to the internet .
