Hello,
Looking for some advice, I spend a lot of time on the road for work (lucky me) and have recently switched from 3 to EE due to woeful signal while driving up and down the country.
EE seem to have much better coverage which is good, but I am tempted to install a car signal booster. It seems a fairly basic device. You stick a little mag mounted antenna on your car roof and it broadcasts the signal inside the car.
I have to select the band I wish to use it on and from my research as a complete novice I assume band 3 1800MHz is the best bet? I want to maximise reception for music streaming and voice calls while travelling.
Any feedback on these devices would be much appreciated. It is only £45 straight out of china so not a big loss if it’s a pile of junk and goes in the bin.
Thanks

EE operate 4G services across Band 1 (2100Mhz), Band 3 (1800Mhz), Band 7 (2600Mhz) & Band 20 (800Mhz)
Band 3 is the primary coverage layer, Bands 1 & 7 are capacity layers. Band 20 is an "extended range" coverage layer often found in rural & remote locations.

You've added to a thread which was querying the frequency bands EE use for 4G services. What is it you want to find?
