This must be how those on the new plans also get Network Priority, Standalone has separated frequencies that non-SA plans can't use.

Pretty sure the “network boost” is just Ai driven priority on the network in congested areas, it’s actually available network wide not just on SA. They’re not using slicing or specific bands for this.

That does make sense thinking about it.

"Network Boost" isn't using AI, reserved bands or slicing.

The latter two are other options.

Thought about giving this a try, but hasn’t worked for me. The toggle is missing still and I’m on the latest beta.

What phone do you have and do you have a plan that includes SA access?

Do you have an eligible plan?

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max and I have the new plans that include 5G standalone. But I can’t get the toggle to show.

There are a lot of things that need to line up for 5G Standalone to work. First off, make sure your phone’s updated to the latest software. You’ll also need to be on a plan that includes all the features, like a full works or all-rounder plan. Plus, you’ve got to be in an area that actually has 5G Standalone. Even with everything in place, sometimes the phone just doesn’t latch onto SA as expected.
