when will EE Mobile get 5G standalone (SA) this year as your blog says deployment of 5G standalone (5G SA) mobile network technology will be during the second half of 2024. and we are in Q3 all ready

I noticed on the EE website that the SIM only packages have been revamped as of a few days ago and whilst they don't mention 5G standalone, the terms and conditions document suggests only certain plans will get 5G standalone. Where does that leave the rest of us that are already in contract with yourselves? In my opinion it seems a bit short sighted to limit access to those on certain new plans as 5G standalone is supposedly meant to save the operator money, too.

To access 5G Standalone consumers need to have the following:
- An All Rounder or Full Works mobile plan taken after 29th August 2024
- A 5G Standalone compatible SIM card or e-SIM
- Be in an 5G Standalone coverage area
- Have a 5G Standalone compatible phone
You'll be able to check if you can access this service in your area via our postcode checker online.
