IPhones - Don't you need to wait for iOS 18, unless you're on the beta?

I think you do, can't help but think that is why EE announced it last week so close to the release date of the final version.

You’ll need the iOS 18 beta installed and a compatible plan. Also only working on the iPhone 15 series currently.

Be interesting to see 5G SA on the s23- have seen 1 Gbps / 94 Mbps up regularly in SE London- but less than 1 Mbps often at London Bridge sadly.
4G home router regularly 120 Mbps down and 50 Mbps up, super reliable / impressive!

I am in Edinburgh, had pretty good speeds before SA, so guess that is why I don’t notice a huge difference.

We’re excited to announce the launch of our industry-leading 5G Standalone Network today! To access this advanced network, you’ll need an All Rounder or Full Works mobile plan taken after August 29, 2024, a 5G Standalone compatible SIM card or e-SIM, and a 5G Standalone compatible phone. Additionally, you must be in a 5G Standalone coverage area. To find out if your location is covered, simply use our postcode checker available online.
