It's not your SIM CARD, it is the absolute poor network EE provides. Over the past year or so, 5G speeds have been so dreadful that I am only waiting for this contract to end and after 9 years EE customer, I will try some other operator.
I am sitting down on a cafe in Central London, Camden to be precise. I've got 3/5 signal and my speed test reads:
Download: 4.84mbps
Upload: 0.34mbps
I ran the speed test because I couldn't load a reel on Instagram. For someone who pays £44/month this is unacceptable low speed.
It's constantly slow. It's not today, this week or so. I have more than 80 screenshots only this year proving that my 5G is at below 10% max speed. Pathetic. Roll back to your previous operator if you can.

Looks like your post has been split into a new thread. Unsure what relevance your monthly spend has.
The onscreen bars are not the critical factor many users believe. Are you able to identify which 4G/5G carriers are in use there?

Your right, my monthly spend has no relevance to you given that the connection has been bad across the board. We all have been equally struggling to get a stable and reliable connection which we pay for
At the time, 5G at 4.84mbps download.
The strength of signal received impacts the internet connection speed so despite not a reliable factor, it tells you that despite the good signal, the speed was 10% of what it's expected.

When you consider EE is now part of BT it becomes blindingly obvious why the service is so pitiful!
