I wanted to call out EE for their roll out of 5G roaming as the more I travel, the more places I’m finding it.
Back when 5G became a thing, I was with ‘another network’ who bragged very loudly about having ‘5G in more places’ than any other UK network. Specifically they claimed the rollouts of their partner networks in Spain, Ireland, Italy and Germany as their own.
Since that time, I’ve ported across to EE and whilst I have little to zero coverage at my house, I am absolutely loving the fact that despite the fact there’s no official mention of EE offering 5G roaming, they do and they’re smashing it out of the park.
In the past couple of years, I have experienced 5G roaming in the USA, Canada, Spain, Ireland, Switzerland, Sweden and Greece.
So yeah, just want to say thanks. You seem to be head and shoulders ahead of the competition at the moment.
