Hi I am roaming in cyprus now, according to EE website, It costs £2.47 a day to use my plan's minutes, text and data allowances like I would at home (UK), Is that means, I can be gifted data by family member if I am running low of data?

That being S. Cyprus? Yes, you can use your gifted data there, up to a total data, yours & theirs, of 50 GB per billing month.
