I purchased UK and EU 5gb data good for 30 days. When I landed in Amsterdam I received a text from EE saying I have to pay if I want to access the data. Why must I pay twice?Thanks.

I have a Motorola G8 and my partner has an Honor 8S. She has recently received a 4G SIM (PAYG) to replace 3G. She has no mobile data (no 4G symbol). When I put my SIM in her phone it works fine and her SIM works in mine. Any suggestions please?
