I am transferring from BT to ee mobile account and have been given new replacement sims for phones. Our numbers will not be changed. Before I do this - will I lose all historical messages on the WhatsApp existing on my phone ?

Changing SIMs should not result in a loss of any app data - WhatsApp or otherwise.

You'd have to check specifics with WhatsApp though - EE didn't design the app, they provide an internet connection for apps to work.

@yonee1 : WhatsApp msgs are associated with your mobile phone no. As long as you keep your phone no. you will retain & be able to access your WhatsApp msgs. You can even access them as well from a PC away from your mobile.
