Using NordVPN with Roaming Pass in Spain

Hi

I have an Apple 13 MAX phone and will be off to Tenerife shortly. I have installed NordVPN and everything is fine in the UK with the VPN connected.

My question is, are there any issues using the Roaming Pass in Spain or any other EU countries with VPN connected?

I seem to remember cases where using a VPN geolocates user in country other than where he is, while not using VPN doesn't. That makes me cautious.
