Hi guys,
I’ve asked this on X but was getting kinda confused with the responses so here goes.
I have unlimited data and free roaming (plan started before July 21).
I’m currently in Portugal and understand that I have a FUP of 50GB. That’s fine.
I’ve been told that if I exceed that I can carry on using my data for £2.something a day.
Is there a cap on this? Or a FUP? And is this activated automatically or do I have to add it or opt in?
Also, before we left I gifted my wife 100GB. I assume she can use this in Portugal? (With the 50GB FUP of course).
Thank you all.

Hi, yes. I’ve read the T&C but they don’t answer my question.
I’m on a SIM only unlimited plan with free roaming as my plan started before July 2021.
I realise I have a 50GB Fair Usage Policy.
But I need to know when I reach that limit will the daily charge automatically kick in or do I need to add it?
I’ve asked on X 3 times and got 2 different answers and 1 ‘I don’t know’.

There is no daily charge to kick in when you exceed the 50GB pm FUP. My understanding is that your usage will be surcharged as per the following charges:
