Renewal date conflict.

My data allowance ran out today 6 May.  Not worried as EE had advised it would be renewed on 7 May.

However, I received a text to say it would be renewed 6 June - another month later.

Why?

It sounds like something has got a little mixed up in the message.

Did you receive the text by sending AL to 150 or was it one that was automatically sent to you?

On contacting this link, the message said the data allowance was going to be renewed 7 May.

This info seems to be self contradictory.

Perhaps it's best to wait till tomorrow to see what happens.

I think it is picking up the incorrect information for some reason on the text, but if it says 7th May on the link, that is more promising. 

Please keep me posted with how it goes tomorrow.
