Same issue all year for me in 2025. I had a Motorola Edge 50 pro, the data kept dropping out intermittently so I got a new SIM card thinking that was to blame, but the problem persisted. I've now bought a new phone (Google pixel on an ESim) because I thought the old phone was faulty, the internet still drops out on the new phone, so Im kind of regretting buying a new phone now. The data connection is usually very fast and I'm in a good signal area.

Hi @Mat40,
Welcome to the EE Community
Does this happen everywhere you go or just certain locations? It would be worth checking out the areas you use your phone on the status checker.
I would also recommend reaching out to our technical team so they can a look into the issue and see if they can see anything that would be causing it.

Hi, it's usually at home but the data connection here is usually fast, but then data just stops for a few seconds and reconnects. It's happened on two different Android devices. Coverage checker is fine.

Do you have WIFI at home? If so, do you notice if the drop out happens where you flick between Mobile data and WIFI?
You can also report any issues you're facing in your home area at the Status Checker link @Alex_H posted.

Hello, no WiFi is not on. It's purely using the phone mobile network. The network status is always fine according to EE status tracker.
Usually the data connection speed is generally 150mbs so I know there is a good connection. Once or twice a day, all of a sudden the 5g symbol disappears on my new phone (and my old Moto Edge 50) for a few seconds before coming back online. This can happen at any time of day.
It happened just now when loading this webpage. 5g symbol disappeared and the page failed to load. The browser error said The "connection interrupted, a network change was detected" . WiFi is off. Sometimes the 5g does not disappear, the symbol stays but there is no data anyway.

Hi @Mat40
It may be worth following @Alex_H's advice and speak with our technical support team. They'll be able to check the performance of the network in your area and help figure out if something else may be affecting your service.
Please come back and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the advice. Ironically I have tried several times, since you messaged, to report the issue on the EE report a problem page but get the following error. I will keep trying.
