New phone only getting EE E

I’ve moved my sim into a second hand phone and for some reason I’m not getting 4G, only E. I’ve switched over my sim a few times to older phones and it’s never been an issue. It can’t be coverage or network issues because the phone I’ve taken the sim out has 4G when I put the sim back in.

Could there be any issue with the phone itself?

The 2nd-hand phone can only support 2G or 3G. What model is it?

EE's 3G network has now been switched off nationally, so any device which doesn't support 4G will now use the 2G network permanently. Your symptoms are consistent with a non-4G phone now displaying EDGE (2G) coverage.

What make & model phone is this?

There both IPhone SE. One gets 4G fine and one doesn’t.

I forgot the model.

The one that’s working fine is SE A2275. The one I’m having problems with is SE A2296

That device is 4G (LTE) enabled, @TescoCatalogue. Which voice and data setting is it switched to?

Tap Settings > Mobile Service > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data.
