Mobile data not working after switch to EE

Ive read all the posts about data not working after getting new sim from EE and switching my number (from 3).

The phone is working Ok, as are text messages but not data.

I've tried everything recommended on these blogs and am very frustrated.

Not a good start to my life with EE

Thanks for this.... but still no sucesss😓.

Can someone tell me the definitive APN settings for Android 2022? There seems to be several versions in circulation. eg 'internet', '1', 'MMS'.

I tried the one at https://www.4gapn.com/gb/en/ee

with name of '1' but no joy

When I do a network reset it defaults to the 'internet' APN 

I've tried all versions of APN i can find and nothing works, although I suspect from the thread thats where my problem still lies!

My phone is a samsung galaxy S8 - it won't let me access settings using *#*#4636#*#* 

Getting more frustrated!. Thinking of booking an appt at EE shop in Glasgow and not leaving until they fix it!

Can you log into you My EE app and select Settings, do you have Mobile Data set to on?

i have logged into eeapp with wifi on

mobile data is on.

when i switch off wifi i still cannot get mobile data

i get meesages from apps like " ..please ensure your mobile data is enabled"

it is switched on ok so don't understand

i have a new account with 4GB per month. used nothing as its not working!

Can you access websites such as the EE Shop when your WiFi is turned off?

 

Do you have all the apps set to use mobile data in your phone settings?

i have an appointment at EE shop in glasgow at 11 today

will not be leaving until fixed!
