Is there a way to switch from 5g to 4g

Hi, im using a google pixel 6 pro and had 4g and it worked amazingly then i got upgraded to 5g and it has been unusable nothing loads, calls dont work and i can barely send texts

Unless there is  a setting on your phone then no. 

Have you checked your signal area

The experience you describe - neither calls nor texts reliably working - should not be happening regardless of "G"

I'd recommend reporting those via the status tool in the first instance. https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker > Check status > Report a problem
