How do I gift data now

Hi @LanLan2,

Providing that you meet the requirements for data gifting, you can follow this guide:

  1.  open the MY EE app and go to Family Usage
  2. choose who needs data
  3. choose the account you want to gift from, and the amount of data you want to gift
  4. send the data gift

@LanLan2   In order to gift data all sims have to be on the same account as yours and all have to be on contract excluding no frills tariffs.   You can not gift data to or from PAYG or across accounts. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

You all need to be to be under the same MyEE family a/c, not PAYG, to be able to gift data. See Gift Your Data and Set Controls .

I think the gift data to family and friends is complete crap. how can you gift data to family and friends yet they need to be in your billing account. Then EE telly you you cannot gift data or PUT anyone in your account because your credit does not allow you too. so to me the family and friends is just a set up for a person to pay more money. Even the EE wifi, they told me that if I get the wifi everyone that lives in the house gets unlimited data, whohc was another lie because they need to be on your billing account. so if my daughter or my cousin both had EE and needed data. UNLESS they are in my monthly billing cycle I cannot give them data. so just another way to justify the increase if a phone bill. Yet some places in Africa get free wifi and mobile.
