EE APN Settings: Where to find them

Hi there,
For APN settings please see our dedicated Help page at https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/fix-problem/Managing-APN-settings.
This Help page will give you the link to download the correct APN settings for your device. It will also give you a step-by-step guide for the most modern devices.
Below is a list of EE APN settings for manual input if you need them.
iPhone
You cannot update/change APN settings on an iPhone as these are locked out by the network and are updated via carrier updates.
Android
The settings option may differ depending on the device you are using,
- Go to Settings.
- Go to More.
- Go to Mobile Networks.
- Go to Access Point Names (APN).
- Go to Menu.
At this point, you should insert a new APN for EE. Use the following.
Name: EE internet
APN: everywhere
Proxy: Not Required
Port: Not Required
Username: eesecure
Password: secure
Server: Not Required
MMSC: http://mms/
MMS proxy: 149.254.201.135
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 30
Authentication type: Not Required or use the default value shown.
Then Save the settings. You'll then need to restart your phone. Please test if it has worked by trying to send an MMS.
Windows Phone
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Network and Wireless.
- Go to Mobile+Sim.
- Go to Sim Settings.
- Choose + add an Internet APN.
Fill in the following fields.
Profile name: EE Internet
APN: everywhere
Username: eesecure
Password: secure
Tick the box next to 'Use this APN for LTE' and tap Save.
- Choose + add an Internet APN
Fill in the following fields.
Profile name: EE MMS
APN: eezone
Username: eesecure
Password: secure
Proxy server: 149.254.201.135
Proxy Port: 8080
MMSC URL: http://mms/
Maximum MMS size: 1048576
Press Save and restart your phone.
Blackberry
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Network Connections.
- Go to Mobile Network.
- Choose APN.
- Select Mobile Plan Selector.
- Choose Contract or Prepay.
Fill in the following fields then press Save.
Access Point Name: everywhere
Username: eesecure
Password: secure
- Go to Settings.
- Go to Text Messages.
- Go to Advanced.
- Scroll past the SMS settings and find the APN Settings.
Fill in the following fields then Save and restart your phone.
APN Settings:
APN: eezone
Username: eesecure
Password: secure
MMSC Settings:
MMSC URL: http://mms/
Proxy URL: 149.253.201.135:8080
Nokia
- Go to Menu.
- Go to Configuration.
- Go to Personal Settings.
- Choose Web.
- Press Account Name. Fill in EE Interent. Tap OK.
- Press Homepage. Fill in http://m.google.com. Tap OK.
- Press use pref.acc.pt then tap no.
- Press acc point sett > bearer settings.
- Choose pack. data acc. pt then type in everywhere and tap OK.
- Press username then type in eesecure and tap OK.
- Press password then type in secure and tap OK.
- Press the back button three times to go back to the network list.
- Press and hold the name EE Internet and then press activate.
- Press the back button.
- Choose def. config. sett and press personal config > default.
- Press the back button twice more and get back to the Home screen.
- Find and choose the menu option on the Home screen.
- Choose configuration.
- Choose personal settings.
- Choose options.
- Now choose add new.
- Choose multimedia msg. These settings will let you send picture messages.
- Choose account name, type in EE MMS, then choose OK.
- Choose server address, type in http://mms/ and choose OK.
- Choose use pref. acc. pt and Choose no.
- Choose acc point sett.
- Choose proxy, then Choose enable.
- Choose proxy address and type in 149.254.201.135, and choose OK.
- Choose proxy port, type in 8080 and choose OK.
- Choose bearer settings.
- Choose pack. data acc. pt, type in eezone and choose OK.
- Choose username, type in eesecure, and choose OK.
- Choose password, type in secure, and choose OK.
- Press the back button three times to return to the list of networks.
- Press and hold on to the network name, EE MMS, then choose activate.
- Choose the back button.
- Choose def. config. sett. and then choose personal config.
- Choose default.
- Press the back button twice, which will take you back to the Home screen.

@Jonathanw2 :I don't believe that this is an APN issue. Only 1 EE network exists across the airways (unlike O2 which has at least 2).

My daughter has a privately owned iPhone and uses a family EE account managed by me. She was in Japan for a year using a Japanese sim. Now back in the UK her data is not working but calls and texts are. I don't understand your info re I phones please advise how to rectify the problem.

We don't have another iPhone unfortunately. Is there another way to check please. Calls etc all working and data is intermittent.
