Data sharing not working

I am the main account holder and the app and website won't let me share data with my kids.

There seems to be a technical fault but when I try to call the wait time is in excess of 40 mins.

Anyone else having the same issues?

Welcome to the community, 

I suggest you try ringing first thing in the morning. Weekends tend to be more busy, as there probably are not as many staff working.

I have bern in a similar position.  I can log into the app but can't share my data. I should have unlimited data but it is showing as 0.

Hi @EileenCJ 

This is what our unlimited plan help page says:

'if you’re on a unlimited plan you can gift up to 100GB of data or 120GB if you’re on a 5G smart handset plan. This will be the first 100/120GB and any data usage will reduce your giftable allowance.'

It sounds like you may have used that giftable allowance.

I have not shared any of my data, but I am told that as I am on holiday out
of the country, I cannot share data. So I am not using data. My daughters
rely upon the data that I gift to them . They both had enough data when I
went on holiday but on the day it refreshed, I was not permitted to share
my data with my family.
I was given no option but to buy data for my daughters. I'm not happy

I am the same, 

I’m the main account holder with loads of available data. My son rang to see if I could gift him some as he needs to use maps to direct him for work and it will not load up… I get as far as gifting the data page and then it says try again later! 
Hopefully it’ll all be restored soon as I’ve never had any problems before

Yeah I'm trying to gift data to my wife and getting the following error in the app, tried on the computer and the page won't load.

Agree, Rubbish service. Broken every month so far!
