Accessing apps and sites on 5G on mobile

When I’m on 5G and trying to access my apps and webpages, certain ones won’t open, I.e gambling, or lottery apps. I assume this is linked to some kind of internet security/safe search setting but I’m not sure how to change it? Does anyone know the steps needed to make these changes please? Thanks

@Waltonj1508  You need to call customer support and request content lock to be removed.  You’ll need to pay a refundable token via a credit card (not debit card ).   Or you can to a EE store within in date photo ID to make this request there.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

: @Waltonj1508 : EE's Content Lock is being applied to adult sites. Are you on contract or PAYG?

  • On Contract: Follow Switching Content Lock OFF or ON .
  • On PAYG: On PAYG you can't control Content Lock from your MyEE. Instead you need to call EE with a credit card handy & pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18. Alternatively you can visit an EE store with some photo ID.
