I am currently abroad and as part of my package have data roaming I have not made any calls or text yet I still have a charge of £7.00 over my bill I have it capped at £10.00 because I do not trust EE any more when I try to find out on the app why I am being charged it says zero charges on calls but on the data it says error . I am away for another month but when I return I will be cancelling my contract and my broadband contract too customer service is non existing.

Which country are you in? Within the EU there is a single charge of £2.29 each you use any of your UK allowances - be this voice calls, sending text messages or using mobile data.

This assumes you moved onto your current pay-monthly plan on or after July 7th, 2021.

Have you been away in EU for 3 days? There's a £2.29 per day roaming fee each day you use any of your allowances in EU. 3 x £2.29 = £6.87!

There is no direct charge for using data anyway.
