wifi mini. unlock to open network please help

how can I unlock wifi mini to any network/, I have bought this 3rd party. i have a kids sim card with smarty and wish to use in the wifi mini, i contacted ee and the lady says its unlocked already but no signal. amnd works in phone.

I am not ver text and this has taken all day. I have seen the number to ring but no-one is available and I am happy to pay the 8.99 please help wifi mini

Whats the extra Digits after the EE71 or else where on the routers Case or behind Battery Cover.

Where did you buy this from, UK?.

just wanted to come on and tell you I have finally done it and smarty works in the ee device. I had EE sim sent via post just a pay and go. I reset the device and that seemed to trigger the device to work. I have also put a old Asda sim in pay as go and that works too thank you for all the support 100% you did the job... thank you

yes I ordered a feee ee off line, and that must have tripped it in to working please see final answer thanks you every one
