Charged me £71 for just the mobile data

I am a new customer and not even a few weeks had gone by and EE charged me £71 even though an advisor told me on the phone that my monthly payment for unlimited data will be no more than £21. Where does the rest of £50 went to. I need an answer.

30 days rolling contract sim
