Hi
I live isolated rural so use EE 4g home broadband, signal is good as l can see the mast from my window.
Data sim is running through a BT 4g Home Hub router, l have a Wi-Fi camera set up to monitor my Motorhome parked on my drive, camera is a cinnadoD1 (Amazon purchase) and uses the Wansview app to connect to the camera.
Everthing works great when l am at home l can look at the camera to check all is ok no problems.
I visited family at the weekend and tried to access the camera via the app, message reads, establishing a secure channel connection, it does not connect?
l have been told it will not connect because the Router will not allow it to, something about it not having port forwarding?
l am not tech savy at all, could someone confirm if this is the case, have l wasted my money buying this camera that will never work remotely using the 4g broadband system l have.

Hi @KenB2
Thanks for coming here.
Does the app connect if you try the SIM card in another device?
Do you use the app when at home to view the camera?
Leanne 🙂

Tried sim in another device (BT mini hub) still not working, yes camera
connects remotely when using app at home.
I have been told l am on something called CGNAT, and that's why it won't
connect remotely when l am out and about, something to do with the ip
address and it being a public and not a private address?
