Connecting to EE Smart 4G Hub (sim)

Just changed from BT to EE and although I can easily connect my iPhones, iPads and TV I cannot access Hive or my cameras. The camera is connected but I can only locally control it when in the house. Is there any settings I need to change on my EE hub?

You probably need to temporarily switch the mobile router to the 2.4 GHz WiFi band only. These smart home devices often can't do 5 GHz.

Tried that but still not able to connect. Hive even uses Ethernet to connect. It just seems the EE router won’t allow 2 way communication used in cameras such as Ring. Looks like and I’m going to have to buy a different router to be able to use my cameras etc.
