Greetings,
I bought the EE 4G mobile wifi a while ago, and am trying to top it up for the first time. I still have the Top-up and Keep me card, but want to top it up online. I remember there was a website which I could log into to check the data, but can't find it. On the back of the device, if I log onto the listed http:// site, it asks for a username and password, but only the password is listed on the device. Any idea the username, or how I can find the site with the data info?
I don't even remember how much I'm supposed to top up with if I take the card to the shop, which is why I'd prefer to do it online.
Many thanks in advance!

I'm currently trying to top up data on a ee WiFi thing, I have added £40 through the phone, but it doesn't give me any data, how can I do this as currently in house controlled by WiFi no heating or TV as all online, seems no way to just add data

@Snadyb123 : Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

Coming back to this, I went to the EE shop with my device and explained my situation. I purchased another SIM which was activated by the employee, and said it was all ready to go, however after charging my device and powering on, there is a red light over the WIFI, and it says on my phone "internet not available." Any idea why?

What does http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi tell you? Obscure your mobile no.

It just says...
You don't have permission to access this resource."

Wrapping it all up! I spent a good while on the phone with EE technicians who tried everything to get to the bottom of it, but it looks like there's a fault with the actual device (not my new SIM, which I knew) Star service from those involved, but unfortunately, this was rarely used, and further searches show it's common for them to be faulty and do this.
I know nothing about hotspots, or WiFi boosts, so going to search the best way to get WiFi since there's little reception where I'm heading this weekend.
