I have been using a 4g payg sim for a while with no problems however I wanted to take advantage of 5G and unlimited data so went into a EE shop and signed up to an unlimited sim this was done as a migration.
Put the sim into my Teltonika router connected to a TPLink access point.
General Web works fine but my Revo internet radio Times out and I have problems with bbc iPlayer on my tv. Also a couple of game apps time out.
If I swap the new 5g sim with my old EE 4g sim it works OK. Same if I put in my 5g O2 sim. But as soon as I put the new EE 5g sim back in there is a problem. Tried speaking to tech support on phone and got nowhere. Does EE block ports on the contract sim that it does not on the payg? E.g. port 80

There's no ports blocked on any SIM. If port 80 were blocked you wouldn't be able to get on the Web at all.
What do you mean by "time out"? That they work for a bit & then stop working Or that they don't work at all?
