My EE 4g hub constantly loses connection tion, despite EE coverage checker showing good coverage.  I regularly have to reset , switch off and on.  It happens every other day towards the end if the month..any one had similar?

Hi @Hocky69

Welcome to the EE Community.

Have you tried moving the hub to a different location in the room? Possibly near a window?

Just be sure it's also away from any heavy electrical or large metallic items.

If you contact Customer Service a guide will be able to let you know the best direction to have your router so that it's in line with your serving mast.

While you're with Customer Service, they'll also be able to run a diagnostics to check if there is any fault with your router causing it to drop out.

hi its a close to the window as it can be, not near any other electrical
item, it works fine for a week or so then I have a week of disruption.

not sure what to do

Cheers for the reply

Do you have an EE phone, and is this similarly affected?

What connection is it that you're losing - the WiFi from device to router? Or is the router losing the mobile network connection?

@Hocky69

You mentioned it happening near the end of each month, does it stabilise near the start of the new month?

Could there be any changes happening outdoors between you and your serving mast that matches the pattern you're experiencing?

Ali

No phone, only 4g mini WiFi hub,  5th consecutive days lost connection and having to reset.

My phone contract is with three, it works fine   my mobile is slow to no thing if I connect to the hub...laptop ok when signal works...its just frustrating for the monthly fee and the promise if  30+ MBA

Cheers for the reply
