On a 2 year contract with a 5G hub, currently £59 a month, that's £700 a year and going up in April.
So slow its unusable. Varies during the day, 7 MB now, up to 15 at night, 3 MB intermittent around tea time. its the intermittent that's really irritating - you don't know if its the website or you phone. Taken to switching off WIFI on my phone and just using data at times - then the page loads instantly.
Tried moving it - no improvement. According to the coverage checker, we have "good indoor coverage".
Its not the router or SIM, in a previous property, it was great. Maybe the router isn't compatible with our nearest mast.
No option to add an external ariel. Thought of buying a 3rd party 5G router with a big arial, but they're too expensive.
Tried EE technical support, but they couldn't help.
Can't wait to cancel it when the contract runs out. Considering getting fixed broadband, and just throwing it away.
If you get one, go for a monthly plan, so you have the option to cancel if its this bad.
DO NOT GET A 2 YEAR CONTRACT

I assume you have tried restarting the router.
It maybe you have moved to a location with poor coverage from your last address. The coverage checker is a guide under ideal conditions.
