Need to access 5G router, 2.4Ghz needed for many household items.

New to EE, moved to a 5G router and now finding some radiators and smoke detectors which operate on 2.4Ghz are not connecting, on one tech platform was told I need to access the router settings, disable the 5g temporarily so the 2.4 can access the radiators etc.

One EE user said to use the EE app to access the router, my problem is that I'm a business account and the account number associated with that  will not allow access to the app.

Any help and advice would be appreciated.

Hi @PaulandHilary

Have you tried logging into the router via your web browser and looking at the settings for compatibility mode.

Thanks

Which model router is it?

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover.

The EE app only coordinates with the latest fixed Home BB routers.
