Mobile lacks reception most of the time

Since I took out contract for mobile,  reception is very poor and wifi doesn't work in a lot of area's.

Why still pay contract when not getting what EE promised, this breaks the conditions of the contract.

WiFi is just a wireless connection between a mobile device and a broadband router, it doesn't use the mobile network unless you have a mobile broadband device - in which case this receives mobile signal and provides a WiFi-hotspot.

Are you saying you have an EE mobile as well, and this has coverage problems?

The coverage check tool is the best place to start - "check coverage" for a service prediction, and "check status" for a faults & issues lookup. What do both say for you?

First of all don't treat me like I'm stupid, I pay for contact for mobile WiFi. Best this is when my contract is up I will change over to Vodafone. Didn't have any issues with them when was with them,  only had problems when I joined you.

Dose not work when on ee wifi. So something wrong. I'm paying for this and can't get it.

Hi @John378

Are you able to try the SIM card in another device to see if you can connect to mobile data?

Leanne.

No why should I,  your supposed to be the best for wifi.

My daughter gets Wi-Fi no problem

This would help us to see if this could be a problem with the SIM or device if you are having this in multiple areas @John378

If you call us on 0800 079 8586 the team can get this looked into further for you.

Leanne.

As mentioned previously, WiFi is just a wireless link between a mobile device and a router.

EE's network claims are based on the mobile network which uses different technology to WiFi. Your mobile broadband device combines the two techs, but understanding where the issue is will certainly help advise on the solution.

I would suggest contacting EE C/S for further help.

Son inlaw gets it and he's with Vodafone never had any issues. He stated would never use ee again because of this problem
