I'll preface this with I live out in the rear-end of no where with spotty outside 4/recently5g coverage and no coverage inside. And a <5mbps broadband connection (which we massively overpay for). To deal with larger downloads, 5gb+, I stick my phone with it's unlimited data into the top window which allows it to get enough signal for me to then tether to and download at speeds anywhere between 10 and 50mbps. Over the time I've been doing this I average about 40gb a month, once hitting 120gb. But I'm careful to not take the urine.
However, within the last 3 weeks or so, maybe it was the recent storms, but I've not been able to get a solid connection at all. Speed tests on the phone, which says it has a medium/strong connection, average at 1.2mbps. Highest I've seen was 4mbps. Which is on par or slower than the broadband. I've tried on 3 different phones to cross out a phone hardware/software issue. Has anything in the EX20 area changed recently?
I'm not sure if this is a fault I can report, can I? I'd like to return to the previous speeds, obviously. We can survive on the slow broadband but it's nice knowing I had the luxury of not spending a week downloading an update if I really didn't want to. Again, I relied on it once every week or other week or when I needed something within hours, not days.

If this has only occurred after the recent storms, then it's possible one site/sector is offline and another has taken some of the traffic.
Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker which includes the option to "report a problem" if nothing is showing.

Thanks, The map doesn't display any "known" issues. I know where in a "It's spotty outdoors" area, but it has gotten much worse. I've tried reporting a problem, but each time I get to the end/submit it tells me "this service is not online" Or something along those lines.
-edit- I just tried reporting a fault again and it's gone through absolutely fine. So that's something.

Yeah hopefully. So far "No faults have been found in your area, maybe its a one off issue and has been sorted or try restarting your device" has been the only response.
Still getting sub 4mbps download speeds on 4g and 5g. Feels like without sending someone out to look, they won't be able to tell, and they won't want to send someone out because why waste the money on that when they can't detect anything. I'll give them a call later if I get time today.
