Lost default password

  • Hi EE Support, I need help with my EE 4G WiFi device. The sticker on the back is missing/damaged, and I don't have the default Admin Password or WiFi Key. Also, the device is showing 'No Service'. Could you please provide the default credentials for my device?

Welcome to the EE Community

If you have the original EE 4G WiFi device then the default WiFi password is MYWIFIXXXX with the 4 Xs being replaced by the last 4 digits of the device IMEI. The admin page is accessed via http://192.168.1.1. and the default password is just admin. 

If you have the EE 4G WiFi 2 or Mini 2 then the WiFi password and admin page password are both unique to that device and are provided on a keep me card as well as printed on the back of the battery cover. If you don't have either of these unfortunately it is not something we can provide.

There is no password backup and if there is no service it sounds like the SIM maybe dead. When was it last used.

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
