Hi All,

Just joined the forum after getting my first EE SIM. I have a Huawei E5576-320 mobile router which I use in my caravan successfully on O2. I changed to an EE SIM as it seemed to be a good deal cheaper. Try as I may I cannot get this to work. Can someoene advise if it should work and some pointers at where i'm going wrong. The SIM packet says to activate the SIM send an email to support@speakeasytelecom.com with mobile number and Amazon order number from SIM purchase. Keep getting a bounce back saying email address does not exist.

Kindest Regards

Pete

Hello XRaySpeX

I am having the same issue as nabee.  Bought EE sim card from Amazon and Paid £17.99 (for 30GB data + 45GB free data as they advertised on Amazon) but when I popped the SIM card in it said there is no credit.  When I tried to register on EE, it said I have 0 allowance.  I have sent an email to speakeasytelecom but I am just receiving standard email reply saying they will respond in 2 hours time.

How would I know if this SIM card is working?  I need to get internet access for me to be able to work.

Thanks

Shtike

@shtike : What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Hi shtike,

I use my £17.99 (EE 30GB data + 40GB free data) sim in a Huawei E5576-320 mobile router. Once I received it from Amazon I popped it in my router and could not connect my personal laptop to Internet. Once I had used Amazon to contact seller to explain my problem I had a couple of mails from SP Telecom the last one telling me they activated my sim. I popped it back in the router powered up and after a couple of mins the router registered as available on my Network . Connected up fine. As I have had so much trouble with my BT broadband connection drops and my EE 4G router Hybrid connect not kicking in to keep my connection going ( currently under investigation ) I have reverted to my Huawei mobile router on a few occasions to do my day job as I work from home. The Huawei & EE sim have performed very well with no drops and good speed even though I hammer the system with the many screens and apps I need to run. Performance is excellent also on long bouts of Call of Duty. So after initial probs getting going I'm more than happy.

Can I ask if you have managed to get things sorted now ?
