My 5GEE router is the only device I have with EE.
I can receive SMS messages on it (by lggin in from a PC) and I have set it up so it forwards incoming SMS to my (Vodafone) mobile phone, so I get those. I can reply to incoming SMS from EE.
But some instructions to EE are normally sent t by SMS, such as setting a spending cap.
But how can I SEND SMS from the router? There seems to be no way to do it.
thanks,Robert

Most mobile routers can both receive & send SMS. However the latest EE mobile routers do not allow you to do a direct send, but only receive, forward & reply.
You've obviously found the SMS section of it. If you can't see any "Create/Write msg" you won't be able to send SMS.

Welcome to the community.
Is there no option to send an SMS in the hub manager (http://192.168.1.1)?

Thanks for responding Chris.
I am logged in to 192.168.1.1 and I can 'reply' to incoming SMS but there seems to be no way to simply send one.

Is that the same on more than one device, @RobertInTheFens?

That must be the explanation, thank you.
The 5GEE-router is the only device I have.
