EE mobile broadband

I am trying to find an affordable means of adding broadband to our house but only need it for our phones or tablet but its main use would be to have it connected to our house alarm package we've just had installed. We do not have a connected telephone line so I was looking at the mobile WiFi hot-spot device, would this be suitable to have running 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Many thanks

Hi @Retirement28.

Yes, you can use a mobile broadband device in a similar way to home broadband.

I wouldn't have thought so. You'll find a battery powered device will keep shutting down after periods of non-use. I would be looking at a mains powered 4GEE Home Router.
