EE broadband

Hi, I’m trying to link my broadband on the app but when it asks for my billing account number, I’m putting in my account number on the card I get my bills taken from however it says it’s incorrect… we’ve had this EE broadband for a year now but just wanted to change a few things hence why I’m linking it up to manage my account but its not letting me… I don’t have a landline (yes I’ve tried my mobile number that is linked but doesn’t work). I don’t know what else to try. Any ideas?

Haha yea my bad…

I’m trying to now connect my SIM number to my account but it’s saying that I’ll have a passcode sent to that number that I’ll have to put. Where would I receive this passcode as the SIM number technically isn’t my mobile number… I haven’t received one on my phone nor my partners. I’ve tried putting my partners details into the content unlock thing (it is a joint account yes) but it’s still saying cannot unlock… I don’t know what I’m doing. I’ve had too many attempts at the passcode so it’s now locked me out so I shall try again in the morning hopefully, if not it’s a trip to the EE store.

Most mobile routers can receive texts. Login to it & look for the SMS Section. @Eddy2760 told you how to earlier.

You can retrieve the passcode number via logging into the router settings,

type 192.168.1.254 into your browser and it should open it up,

user should be admin (all lower case)

password should be on the router 👌 when logged in you can go to the message inbox for the SIM card 👌

No, that's the IP of a fixed BB router. A mobile router is likely to be http://192.168.1.1 as you said earlier.
