Hello,
Recently I got a 4g Broadband to replace Starlink.
With Starlink I ve been using a Google Nest WiFi pro mesh system to have signal throughout the house.
I did factory reset to the Google router before connecting it to the EE hub. Despite following the steps in the Google home app I can't get it connected to the internet.
Should I change any settings in the EE hub?

Hey there @KKaltz
Welcome to the EE Community 😊
Which model of 4G router are you using at the moment, and can you get online if you connect any of your devices directly to this?

Hi Peter,
It's the HH10E. I can get online if I connect directly to it. The problem is when I try to set up Google Nest WiFi pro to create a local mesh system.

Thanks @KKaltz.
I've done a bit of digging and found a guide on the Google mesh system HERE.
I appreciate you've used this in the past with you previous provider, but is there any point in particular in this set up that this is failing?
Also have you tried heading to http://192.168.1.1 and logging in to manage your router settings?
There may be an option to specifically switch this to modem / bridge mode for when it's being used with an external router.

It fails when it creates the WiFi network. After couple of attempts I unplugged it from EE modem and connected it back to my old provider modem ( Starlink) and it worked fine.
It must be one of the pre settings in the EE modem.
I also put the EE modem in pass through mode, but still didn't work.

Thanks for checking those things @KKaltz
To get this looked into, I'd suggest getting in touch with our technical team to see if they can suggest anything else for you to try.
Thanks
Leanne.
