Hi All,
If i change from Sky to EE, will EE contact Sky to cancel the Sky comtract?
Sky told me that it could be switched over quite easily due to being part of the same group (or somthing like that)
Any assistance would be a great help.
Regards
Nobby

Hello @Nobby718 and welcome to the community.
an Advice Of Transfer (AOT) and Notice Of Transfer (NOT) will be created by the gaining Provider and sent to current provider using the NEW BT One Touch Switching system approved by OfCom.
Anyone who uses the Openreach network will be switched and swopped by an engineer in the cabinet or remotely if on Full Fibre.
Companies like LilaConnect, Virgin Media, City Fibre, etc all who have their own network process is different but the new One Touch Switching Platform is a new cool tool on the block launched last month allowing provide to directly contact another provider regrading switching customers.
AOT and NOT are normally directly handled by Openreach and both the gaining and losing provider must of through Openreach to pass information to each other causing delays or confusion but normally completed within 14 days from order placement.
One Touch Switching will mean coming to NEW EE even EASIER!
Information on One Touch Switching can be found HERE.

@Nobby718 Yes, just let EE do everything, you do not have to contact sky, and you should receive e-mail from sky saying sorry to see you go, that will let you know its all going through.... You are responsible for the Final sky bill, effective from the changeover date, normally takes couple of months but you do have to keep any eye on it.

That process doesn't apply to mobile BB. It's only for fixed Home BB that Ofcom's 1-Stop Switch process is used. Are you sure you don't mean fixed Home BB?
@FIZZYLP : Ofcom's One Touch Switching process has been delayed & is not yet available.
