Hi Community, literally pulling my hair out trying to find where to change my password??
I have tried the http://192.168.1.1 but it won't let me open the page.
I don't want to change my admin password or logging onto to here, it is so visitors that come to the house can have a easy password rather than the one on the box.
Thanks
V

Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then, if the WiFi password is not also found under the battery cover, on the WiFi Settings tab you should be able to see your WiFi password in clear & change it if you like.

thanks but I typed
"I have tried the http://192.168.1.1 but it won't let me open the page."
So it won't let me open the page - I don't know how else to change it ?

Do a hard reset & then try again.

Try calling CS on the Freephone no. (Opt. 2) in my sig.

So if anyone is reading this, can I confirm that once you reset your box, the password goes back to the original password on the box!
Therefore if you need to change, so a box reset and it goes back and I shall keep that and print it in large and stick it on my fridge for all to see

That's right @VicCam, a factory reset will return the WiFi password to the default password that originally came with the router.

Yes, that's the case for all routers but it shouldn't prevent you opening the http://192.168.1.1 page even if you can't login there.
